Groopview overlays video chatting, audio chatting, texting and emoji response on video streaming that is fully and continuously synced in real time. This allows Groopview viewers to watch live and pre-recorded shows with friends and family at exactly the same time even when they’re apart.
Groopview has both a standalone app and a full-stack ecosystem: from Content Ingest to Transcoding. This is primarily used for market trials, beta testing, and to showcase our SDK to potential clients. It is also available for clients, should they require a player and ecosystem.
Yes. The Groopview SDK is lightweight and takes about a week to integrate into any over-the-top streaming platform. Groopview is a B to B to C service. Our primary customers are Service Providers (MVPDs, Telcos) and Content Providers (Media companies that have Direct to Consumer streaming services).

Yes, Groopview provides SDKs for both iOS and Android. Groopview is mobile first.
The Web version which is multi browser accessible is currently under development and will be available in First Quarter 2021.
Groopview’s App is player agnostic. We will integrate with our customer’s video streaming App. We do not re-broadcast the video or even touch the video files. Also, all video files stay in our client’s ecosystem and is delivered using our client’s DRM protection.
Yes. Groopview can work across multiple platforms. Users can be on different devices and participate in the Groopview session. It is not necessary for all the participants to be on the same type of device.
Groopview is agnostic to any: Network: WiFi, 4G, 5G and WANDevice: iOS, Android, Win, MacOS (and in the future many other devices) and Content: Licensed, Free, VoD and Linear/Live Broadcast
For clients that are using our SDK, Groopview attaches only after the authentication has been performed by our client’s app. We also utilize the client’s entitlements system to ensure all users have the rights to watch the content and that the content is DRM protected.
Groopview operates in the cloud and can easily scale vertically and horizontally.
Groopview’s service was created to operate in diverse network conditions. In addition, we ensure network connections are optimized to support the level bandwidth, which is necessary to provide Quality of Experience.
Groopview works well on WiFi. 5G certainly provides a superior user experience, because of the gigabit per second connectivity. This reduces latency. However, Groopview can operate in 4G and WiFi environments given a certain level of throughput rate.
